Her visual language is rooted in metal engraving, a technique she has reinterpreted from a radical perspective at her workspace in Barcelona, Studio 46, a space historically linked to figures such as Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí and Marc Chagall. Plexxo subverts the traditional principles of printmaking by conceiving each work as a unique piece: the plate is destroyed after a single print.

During her time in Ecuador, particularly in regions such as Otavalo and the Amazon, she strengthened her connection with nature and ancestral cultures. It was in this context that her interest in volcanoes as sacred entities of creation and destruction emerged, with Cotopaxi being one of her most significant points of reference.

She subsequently settled in Spain, where she has spent over a decade developing her own artistic language that expands printmaking into hybrid territories, incorporating material experimentation and a broader dimension.

Trained in both Latin America and Europe, she was recognised as “Young Talent of the Year 2022” by the University of Berkeley (California). Her work has been exhibited in cities such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Paris, Madrid, Monaco and Luxembourg, as well as being featured in international art fairs and large-scale mural projects.

Colombian artist whose practice explores the duality inherent in existence, the spiritual dimension of the human being, and the possibility of re-establishing a deep connection between humanity and nature through energy channelled from the feminine.

Her iconographic universe reinforces an interpretation of fragmented faces, insistent eyes and hybrid figures straddling the human and animal realms, shaping an imaginary world where identity is never stable. These forms do not seek to represent, but rather to record: they are emotional imprints, vestiges of a memory in constant flux.
