Marcela Jardón (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1964) is a leading multidisciplinary artist whose work has crossed borders and been exhibited in institutions and art fairs across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Trained at the National School of Fine Arts at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires, Jardón has lived and worked in Barcelona since 2000, where she pursues a practice encompassing painting, sculpture, photography and experimental media, always with a poetic and reflective approach.

Her work is characterised by landscapes and forms that arise from a perceptual and emotional exploration rather than realistic representation, inviting the viewer to establish personal connections with the scenes and textures she presents. Jardón uses materials and processes of controlled experimentation to construct visual worlds that combine introspection, memory and poetic sensibility.
