Lavio presents a new sculptural series by the artist Reload at the private residence of Iván Helguera and Lorena Casado in Madrid, in a project initiated by art historian and gallerist Laura Clemente in collaboration with cultural advisor Ana Suárez Gisbert.

Titled Las musas de Reload, the project brings together six hand-carved marble sculptures conceived by the artist as tributes to the female figure and to key icons of contemporary visual culture. The works create a dialogue between references to Cubism, Neoclassicism, and 20th-century popular culture, in a proposal that merges sculptural tradition with a contemporary visual language.

Developed within a private collecting and patronage context, the exhibition highlights the role of collectors as active agents in supporting contemporary artistic production. Reload’s practice explores a retro-futurist aesthetic in which marble engages with imaginaries drawn from cinema, music, and contemporary visual culture, offering a critical, playful, and emotional reinterpretation of classical iconographies.
